Configuring self-registration and logging into Induction

Streamlining the self-registration process is essential for providing a smooth onboarding experience for new users and efficient access for returning ones. This article outlines key aspects of self-registration, including initial login setup, accessing support resources, accommodating returning users, and implementing an effective password reset system.

Lucidity Induction can be accessed by creating a new account or using an existing account to log in. Each organisation will have a custom designed log in page and associated questions, however the basic functionality will remain the same.
1.1. Accessing support
- End-Users: Please do not contact Lucidity for support with password reset and eLearning Induction or assessment completion. Lucidity has no control over this. Please contact your local administrator.
- Administrators: Please ensure relevant contact details are included in the induction process so that end-users have access to support. Lucidity is not able to reset passwords or assist with eLearning content or assessment questions.
2. Logging in
The self-registration page will have a unique link which can be provided by system administrators.
2.1. Returning user
To log in as a returning user (either end-user or administrator), from the Self-Registration page:
- Enter username and password.
- Click Log in.
2.2. Password reset
To request a new password:
- Click Forgotten password?
- Enter the registered user name or email address.
- An email will be sent to the registered email address.
- Follow the link within the email to reset the password.
2.3. New user
To create a new account, from the Self-Registration page:
- Click Create a new account.
- Complete all fields as required by the organisation.
- The details required may vary slightly between each system configuration.
- Fields marked with * are mandatory.
- Click Create Account.
- If induction selection is required, refer to the next section. If this isn't required, the eLearn courses required to be completed will be displayed.
