- Video: My Training
- PDF: Training Roles QRG - PDF
The My Training tab is where current and completed courses are displayed and accessed. Any eLearn courses required to be completed will be displayed on the My Training tab in the Current Courses page. Partially completed courses will also be listed. Some courses may have pre-requisite requirements.
2. Completing eLearning training
To complete eLearn training, from the Current Courses page:
- Click Start on the required course.
- Some courses will contain more than one module, as shown below. In these cases, pre-requisites may again be applied.
- Click Start on the required module.
- Some modules may contain an assessment. Assessments can't be completed until the modules has been viewed. Click View.
-
Every module and presentation will play slightly differently, dependent on configuration.
-
If no assessment is required, click Continue.
- Once the module has been viewed successfully, the assessment will become available, click Start.
-
Assessments can be configured differently. A pass mark of 100% may be required for some assessments for example, whilst others may only require a pass mark of 80%. All questions will be multiple choice, with only one correct answer.
- Answer all questions by selecting a single response.
- Click Submit.
- If the assessment is not successfully passed, the module must be re-attempted. Click Click to attempt to complete again.
- Repeat this process until the assessment is successfully passed.
- Read the declaration and tick the box.
- Click Submit Declaration.
- If the course consisted of more than one module, several options will be displayed:
- Return to the course list - return to the home My Courses page.
- Continue - proceed to the next module in the course.
- Once the entire course is completed, several options will be displayed:
- Return to the course list - return to the home My Courses page.
- Print Receipt - print a full page receipt of completion.
- Print Induction Card - print a small receipt of completion.
- Continue - proceed to the next course.
- Continue until all required courses are completed.
3. Failing assessments
Assessments may have a limited number of attempts a user can unsuccessfully take before the course is marked as failed. For example, if the number of attempts is set to 2, the user would need to fail the assessment twice before the entire course is marked as failed. When a course is failed, the user can no longer reattempt it and will need to contact an administrator for assistance.
The completion of modules will not be registered until the declaration box has been ticked and submitted, even if all modules have been viewed and assessments passed.
4. Completed courses
Once complete, courses will be viewable via the Completed Courses page.
From the Completed Courses page, users can:
- View course results, including completion and relevant expiry dates
- View course content
- Run an Excel list report
- Print course receipts
