Editing and deleting Induction resources

Maintaining an up-to-date and streamlined resource library is crucial for the effectiveness of your Induction program, requiring regular editing of existing materials and removal of outdated content. This guide will walk you through the processes of modifying resource details, updating file attachments, and safely deleting unnecessary resources in Lucidity Induction, ensuring your resource collection remains current, relevant, and optimised for learner engagement.
1. Edit resource
Video: View, Sort, Edit, and Delete Resources
To edit a resource, from the Resources section within the Module page:
- Click Edit to the far right of the resource.
- Edit fields as relevant.
- Click Save to save the resource.
- Click Save to save changes to the module.
2. Delete resource
To delete a resource, from the Resources section in the Module page:
- Click Delete to the far right of the resource.
- In the pop-up that appears, click Delete to completely delete the resource from the system.

Click Save to save the module.
Important: Deleting a resource cannot be undone. Always use the delete function with caution. Any resources deleted in error will need to be added again.
All records associated with the course in Lucidity Induction or Lucidity Competency will not be deleted. However, users will no longer be able to review the resource.
3. Resource material
Resources can be made available in the form of JPEGs, PDFs, PowerPoint's, SCORM files, HTML5 files etc or a resource can be a link to videos or documents/ procedures held on external sites such as YouTube, Lucidity Intranet, Google Drive etc.
It is recommended all PPT files are converted to either PDF or SCORM (instructions below) to ensure the end user is forced to view each individual page within the presentation.
Content that is Responsive is designed to adapt to the devise the user is viewing the content on. It will "respond" by changing the size of the presentation so it can easily be viewed on a mobile phone for example.
