Configuring HR settings

System Administrator access is required.
Properly configuring HR settings is crucial for ensuring an organisation's human resources policies and procedures align with its goals and compliance requirements. Careful configuration of HR settings involves tailoring various aspects such as agreements, allowances, bonus types, vehicle types and more. See the sections below for more information:
1. Settings
1.1. Settings menu

The Settings tab is only available to the system administrator and is where the drop-down lists that are available within the filters of Lucidity HR are generated.
From the Settings menu, system administrators can:
- Add new, edit and delete items from list.
- Use filters to search.
- Generate an Excel report for each list.
2. Managed lists

| Indigenous | Options for Indigenous users (generally yes, no, undisclosed). |
| Job Titles | List of all job titles of users. |
| Rate Types | Pay rate categories used within the organisation |
| Relationships | Used to denote relationship of nominated next of kin of user. |
| Termination Reasons | List of reasons for termination. |
| Vehicle Types | List of vehicle types. |
2.1. Editing settings
Care must be taken to ensure that any entries in lists that are modified do not have unintentional consequences, as all existing profiles that have used a particular selection in a list will be also modified.
2.2. System settings for Lucidity Access
Some settings for Lucidity HR are managed via the Settings tab within Lucidity Access as they apply to more than one Lucidity application. These include:
- Division
- Location
- Business Unit
- Project
