1. Actions

This page provides instructions on how to manage actions from the Lucidity App only. For more detailed information on managing actions in general.
1.1. Available Actions
Regardless of privileges the user may have, only actions that have been assigned to the user will be displayed in the App. Users can access the full Lucidity system via a web browser from any device to view additional functionality associated with actions.
2. Create a new Action
There are several locations within the App that a new action can be created. The main location is the 'Add Action' quick link from the Dashboard.
To create a new action, from the App Dashboard:
- Tap Add Action in the quick links.
- Tap in the actionee field to assign the action to an different user.
Note: If the logged in user only has permissions to assign actions to themselves, only their name will appear.
- Scroll or search to locate the actionee and select their name(s).
- Enter a description and a due date.
- Add any photos to the action as required. Refer to the App Images section below for more details.
- Tap Save in the top right hand corner to save the action and return to the Dashboard.
Note: The saving of the action will trigger a notification to the actionee alerting them to the assigned task.
3. Edit an existing Action
To edit an existing action, from the App Dashboard:
- Tap open actions.

Scroll or search to locate the required action and tap to open.
Note: That closed actions can be access via the Closed button at the bottom of the screen and all actions, regardless of status, can be accessed by tapping All.
- Colour coding is used to highlight the current status of the action.
- If the logged in user has the required privileges, the action can be reassigned to another user by tapping Reassign and selecting the new actionees name.

Comments can also be added to the action from this page, for status updates for example. Tap Add Comment.

Tap Save in the top right hand corner to save the action and return to the Dashboard.
