Archiving and deleting Induction course groups
Who is this article for?Administrators who want to learn to archive and delete Induction course groups.
Administrator permissions are required.
Maintaining an organised and efficient Lucidity Induction system often requires managing course groups, including archiving those that are no longer active and deleting obsolete ones. This guide will walk you through the processes of archiving course groups to preserve historical data while decluttering your active view, and permanently deleting groups when necessary, ensuring your Induction system remains streamlined and focused on current training needs.
1. Archiving course groups
If a course group is no longer required to be available for selection, it can be disabled and then archived. To archive a course group, from the Course Group page:
- Click Actions to the far right of the course.
- Click Archive.
- Click Archive to confirm.
2. Deleting course groups
To delete a course group, from the Course Group page:
-
Click Actions to the far right of the course.
-
Click Delete.
- In the pop-up that appears, click Delete to completely delete the course group from the system.
Important: Deleting a course group cannot be undone - always use the delete function with caution. Any course group deleted in error will need to be recreated. It is recommended old course groups are archived rather than deleted, unless a course group was made in error.
Note: Any courses or completion records associated with the courses in the course group in Lucidity Induction will not be deleted.
