The Branding page in Lucidity Software empowers administrators to customise the visual identity of the system, ensuring a cohesive and professional look across all modules and user touchpoints. This guide walks you through the process of managing various branding elements, including banners, login backgrounds, and theme colors, allowing you to align the software's appearance with your organisation's brand standards.
1. Branding
- The Branding page allows administrators to manage system-wide branding elements.
- Branding can be adjusted for banners, PDFs, user cards, login background, and theme colors.
- Changes can also be made from Lucidity Intranet (refer to Intranet & System Settings guide).
1.1. Impact of changes
- Changes affect all end-users.
- Users may need to log out and sign back in to see updates.
- Refer to the Uploading/Managing Files guide for detailed image specifications.
2. Branding elements

Banner (including PDF banner and user cards)
- Appears at the top of every module and page.
- Used in module switcher, PDFs, and user cards.
- Usually the organisation's logo.

Image requirements for banner
- Format: .png with transparent background.
- Minimum height: 300 px
- Aspect ratio: Do not exceed 5:1
Tip: Use online PNG tools for creating transparent images.

Login splash back
- Background image on the login page.
- Scales to fit screen size.

Splash back requirements
- Format: .jpg or .png
- Minimum dimensions: 1800 px width, 1200 px height

Changing branding elements
- Ensure image is accessible on computer or network drive.
- Click Upload Image for the desired element.
- Locate and select the image file.
- Save changes.

Theme customisation
- Use the Theme tab to change system color scheme.
- Select primary and secondary colours.
- Click Update Theme to apply changes.
- Primary color also affects user card design.
