Version 21.10.0
Release Date: 27 July 2026
This release focuses on resolving critical printing and access control issues across InForm, along with fixes to Incident reporting, Permit to Work, and organisational unit management.
What we introduced:
- API: Introduced a new endpoint to create organisation units (Divisions, Business Units, Locations) directly via the API, enabling programmatic organisational structure management for clients migrating away from CSV-based imports.
- API: Introduced a new endpoint to update and archive existing organisation units via the API, supporting the same field validations as the create endpoint.
What we fixed:
- Access: Fixed a critical issue allowing InForm View-only users to edit records in their assigned form groups, regardless of form status.
- InForm: Fixed an internal server error when viewing or printing certain form records, including completed forms.
- InForm: Fixed an internal server error when printing SWMS Upload forms.
- Incident: Fixed an issue preventing users from accessing previously saved injuries after adding multiple injuries to an incident report.
- Incident: Fixed missing Actual and Potential consequence data in exported “Issue Overview” reports.
- Permit to Work: Fixed an error when rejecting submitted permits, which repeatedly requested rejection comments.
- Dictionary: Fixed the Induction self-registration flow so the renamed “Next of Kin” label displays correctly.
- OnSite: Fixed automatic user check-outs failing, which left users incorrectly checked in.
- Public Form: Added validation to prevent saving a form while an attachment is still uploading.
Version 21.9.1
Release Date: 10 July 2026
This release focuses on new API capabilities, Contractor compliance improvements, a critical data integrity fix for Hub-connected tenants, and targeted usability improvements across InForm, Actions, Access, and Incident.
What we introduced:
-
Contractor: Introduced a configurable per-tenant setting (feature) to make the Company Classification field mandatory when creating a new contractor company, ensuring the contractor compliance document workflow is triggered correctly from the point of company creation.
- Hazardous Substance: Extended the Hazardous Substances Register API with a new bulk import endpoint, allowing administrators to upload a CSV to populate site-level substance inventory without manual data entry.
- Actions: Extended the 'Action Source' column to all modules that support Actions — including InForm — ensuring consistent behaviour across the platform.
What we improved:
-
InForm: Long form names in the List Form Records dropdown now wrap instead of truncating, making it easier to distinguish between forms with similar naming prefixes.
What we fixed:
Hub: Fixed a critical issue where saving an InForm record under certain scoping conditions could silently overwrite another user's account credentials, causing them to be unable to log in.
- Incident: Fixed the ‘Closed by’ field to show the user who closed the report, rather than the Closeout Manager, when ‘Further Actions Required = No’.
- Access: Fixed the ‘Scope all form groups’ permission so it is no longer overridden by role-level assignments.
- HR: Fixed the Archived People email report to return archived, rather than active, user data.
- InForm: Fixed attachments not being carried over when bulk-creating actions for 10 or more actionees.
- InForm: Fixed public forms being unable to submit when they contained a required inline action element hidden from public view.
Version 21.8.2
Release Date: 03 July 2026
In this release, we focused on resolving two high-priority InForm data visibility issues and a critical Permit to Work blocker for scoped users.
What we introduced:
- Permit to Work: Introduced a Universal Permit Approver role, consistent with the existing Universal Manager role in the Incident module. Users assigned this role will appear in the Permit Approver dropdown for all permit creators regardless of their scoping, ensuring scoped users are never blocked from lodging a permit.
What we fixed:
- InForm: Fixed an issue where mandatory field data was not displaying when opening an individual form record, despite the same data correctly appearing in the list/column view.
- Permit to Work: Fixed an issue where scoped users were unable to select a Permit Approver after the org-unit scoping changes introduced in v21.8.0, preventing them from submitting permits.
Version 21.8.1
In this release, we focused on resolving a critical InForm PDF output issue introduced in the 21.8.0 upgrade.
What we fixed:
- InForm: Fixed an issue where table data was not visible in PDF print output — data inside table elements was not rendering when printing or exporting form records to PDF
Version 21.8.0
This release packages improvements and fixes originally built across versions 21.7.0 to 21.7.2, with a focus on incident manager filtering, resolving high-impact issues across InForm, Access, Hazardous Substances, and delivering underlying security improvements to keep the platform robust.
What we introduced:
- Incident: Introduced a new feature where users can enable organisation-unit based filtering for Responsible Manager and Closeout Manager on all incident report types, so managers displayed are matched to the organisational context of the incident being reported. Note: Please contact us if you'd like to learn more about this feature and assess if it's right for your organisation.
What we improved:
- Incident: Extended the org-based Responsible Manager and Closeout Manager filtering (previously available on Incident Reports only) to all remaining issue types — Non-conformance, Hazard, Complaint, and Improvement Opportunity — ensuring consistent manager selection behaviour across the full incident workflow.
What we fixed:
- Access: Fixed unified scope calculations across modules when single source of truth scoping is enabled.
- InForm: Fixed inline actions and comments appearing in the wrong section, or not displaying, when sending a form record.
- InForm: Fixed the “Date Taken On” field not displaying automatically when selecting an asset on a new form record.
- InForm: Fixed column configuration fields not populating in list form views after upgrading to version 21.6.1.
- InForm: Fixed photo attachments displaying as links in View mode instead of inline.
- Access: Removed a blank permission that caused server errors and prevented affected users from logging in.
- Contractor: Fixed course progress incorrectly displaying as 0/0.
- Intranet: Fixed incorrect weather data on the Dashboard.
- Hub (HR): Restored direct user creation in HR, with automatic Hub synchronisation.
- Hub (HR): Scoped HR administrators can now archive and delete users within their scope without Hub tenant admin access.
- Hazardous Substances: Fixed “Copy Failed” errors when copying records with a Container Type.
- Hazardous Substances: SDS Expiry Date now defaults to five years after the SDS Issue Date.
- Hub: Fixed the Ideagen Mazlan Home link not consistently appearing in the navigation switcher.
- General: Updated dictionary values now appear correctly in module filters.
Version 21.7.2
In this release, we extended our organisation-based manager filtering to cover all incident issue types.
What we improved:
- Incident: Extended the org-based Responsible Manager and Closeout Manager filtering to all remaining issue types — see Version 21.8.0 above for the full description of this change.
Version 21.7.1
In this release, we resolved a scoping issue affecting users with different organisational scopes configured across multiple modules.
What we fixed:
- Access: Fixed an issue where enabling the single source of truth scoping feature did not correctly combine a user's existing scopes from across different modules — users were not seeing their unified scope reflected in the Access module as expected
Version 21.7.0
In this release, we focused on improving how incidents are managed across organisations and resolving key issues across InForm, HR, Contractor, and Intranet modules to ensure a more consistent and reliable experience.
What we improved:
- Incident: Introduced a new feature where users can elect to have organisation-unit based filtering for Responsible Manager and Closeout Manager on all incident report types, so managers displayed are matched to the organisational context of the incident being reported. This filtering was later extended to cover all issue types — see Version 21.8.0 above.
What we fixed:
- InForm: Fixed inline actions appearing at the bottom of the document and comments not displaying in the correct section when sending a form record.
- InForm: Fixed the “Date Taken On” field not displaying automatically when selecting an asset on a new form record.
- Contractor: Fixed course progress incorrectly displaying as 0/0 when the correct progress appeared in the Induction module.
- Intranet: Fixed incorrect weather data on the Intranet Dashboard.
- Hub (HR): Restored direct user creation in the HR module, with automatic syncing to Hub.
- Hub (HR): Scoped HR administrators can now archive or delete users within their scope without Hub tenant admin access.
- General: Fixed updated dictionary values not appearing in module filters.
