The EHS Core Desktop platform continues to evolve with powerful enhancements across its modules. Below is a summary of the key features and improvements introduced in each version, starting with the most recent.  

Version 20.6.1 - Notifications, Contractor, and reliability improvements 

Release Date: 25 February 2026

In this release, we focused on improving clarity across Notifications and Contractor modules and resolving key issues across multiple modules to ensure a more stable experience.

What we improved:

• Notifications
  • Included the user's ID and email address in the add/edit notification set so it's easier to identify the correct person when selecting users
  • Removed the 'InductionUsers' user type from the notification list to reduce confusion and improve clarity
• Contractor
  • Renamed "Required Document" to "Required Document Classification" for better understanding and clarity

Fixes

• Intranet: Fixed YouTube embedded videos (iFrames) which were not displaying correctly 

• General: Fixed missing modules from the navigation caused by stale cached navigation data
• Inform: Fixed missing icons for ribbon and command buttons in table layout following the Helix UI update
• OnSite: Fixed an issue where an incorrect name was being displayed in the desktop app
• Access: Fixed Gateway timeout errors occurring when users accessed the permissions tab
• Risk: Fixed an issue where IDs were displayed instead of names in the risk register details and actions

Version 20.5.0 - Performance and reliability improvements

Release Date: 09 February 2026

In this release, we focused on improving system performance and fixing key issues across multiple modules to ensure a smoother experience.

What we improved:

• Enhanced the version display in the web interface to show the product name (EHS Core) alongside the version number, making it easier to identify which product and version you're using

  

• Streamlined the Help menu by removing duplicate support options
• Added scheduled reporting for archived users to improve system maintenance
• Significantly improved login and logout response times following the Helix UI update

Fixes

• Incident: Fixed the Issue list widget filter on the dashboard so it now displays correctly
• Inform: Fixed an issue where three-digit numbers were disappearing in the Asset dropdown within Inform records

Version 20.4.2 - Intranet and module improvements

Release Date: 26 January 2026

In this release, we focused on improving the Intranet module and enhancing reliability across several other modules.

What we improved:

Intranet

• Restored notifications when actions are created
• Improved management system visibility for SuperAdmin users
• Brought back the search bar functionality
• Fixed drag and drop feature

Other modules

• Contractor: Corrected employee course progress and status to align with the Competency module
• Competency: Fixed competency percentage report and tickets column data
• Inform: Resolved Asset dropdown issues
• Onsite: Improved user tap out and exit time logging

Version 20.3.1 - Enhanced stability and performance

Release Date: 15 December 2025

In this release, we focused on stability and performance improvements across multiple modules to deliver a more reliable experience for both desktop and mobile users.

What we improved:

• Intranet: Restored the filing cabinet option (+ button)
• Inform: Fixed element icons displaying correctly in form edit fields and restored conditional format display
• Contractor: Resolved document expiry status discrepancies
• App: Fixed loading issues so you can now view actions and forms on the app dashboard without interruption
• Onsite: Location field data now included in intranet action report exports
• Incident: Optimised maximum character length for incident meeting descriptions to improve efficiency

Version 20.2.0 - Custom branding and Contractor module improvements

Release Date: 1 December 2025

In this release, we focused on restoring your ability to customise the platform with your brand and improving contractor document management for better control and organisation of your compliance documentation.

New features:

Contractor

• Added filter for archived document types
• Added Archive option to the Actions menu for document types

What we improved:

• Access and Intranet: Restored custom branding! You can now upload, preview, and replace the default Ideagen logo with your own company logo
• Incident: Improved filter population on Contractor Involvement reports
• Onsite: Fixed the exit users function
• Competency: Corrected the email address field in column configuration
• Inform: You can now use archived form templates again
• General: Improved traffic light system in the Actions tab and corrected date column display

Version 20.0.0 - Introducing a simpler user experience!

Release Date: 31 October 2025

In this release, we redesigned the entire navigation experience to help you access your most-used features faster and reduce the clicks needed to get work done.

New features:

New side navigation The new side navigation replaces the module switcher and top navigation from previous versions. You can easily locate any module and expand it to access specific pages. For example, to access the asset register, simply expand the Asset menu and click on Asset Register in the submenu.

Breadcrumb navigation Breadcrumbs now appear at the top of each page, so you always know where you are in the application and can easily retrace your steps.

Horizontal tabs for detailed views Pages with detailed information now include horizontal tabs. For example, when viewing an asset, you'll see tabs for Maintenance and Usage that you can click to view those specific details.

Category filtering When viewing a list of records, you can now use a dropdown menu to filter by category. For example, when viewing all assets, you can select Excavators to see only those records.
