Maintaining secure access to Lucidity accounts is crucial for protecting sensitive information. End users can easily create or reset their passwords by following these straightforward steps, ensuring strong password requirements are met.
1. Resetting a password

To reset a password:
- Access your organization's Lucidity Software login page.
- Click the Forgotten password? link.
- Enter either your Lucidity username or email address.
- Click Request Password Reset.
- Check your email for instructions from Lucidity, and note the listed username.
- Click the reset link in the email to open the password reset screen.
- Enter a new password following the strong password requirements displayed.
- Re-enter the new password to confirm, then click Change Password.
- Return to the login screen and enter your username along with the newly created password.
1.1. Strong password requirements
To ensure account security, Lucidity enforces strong password policies. Passwords must:
- Be at least 8 characters long.
- Contain at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter, 1 digit, and 1 special character.
- Not match your username.
- Be different from any previously used passwords.
By adhering to these password reset steps and strong password requirements, end users can maintain secure access to their Lucidity accounts, safeguarding sensitive data within the system.
